3-dimensional nail art uses a modeling sculpture powder, UV curing gel or applied items to create fingertip works of art. The end results range from the delicate beauty of tiny pearls applied to a bride’s perfect manicure to crustacean-like appendages begging for amputation. Some of the designs are so pointy and sharp, one might be convinced to give up cutlery altogether.

These designs aren’t for the practical among us, but they do look like they could be a lot of fun, especially during the winter holidays when themed manicures could be the most exciting thing at family get-togethers.
