Although I can't see any concrete similarities between the Swan Lamps and the bird of the same name, there is a majestic beauty about them that does remind me of swans. Simply take in the pure and pristine whiteness of the shade, its delicate folds made out of thin paper sheets and the curious downward tilt of the neck, and I'm sure you'll start to understand the name more as well.
