Designer Mousesnaps Won't Stop 'Creatures from Stirring'

Kitschy holiday ornaments are nothing new, but Mousesnaps -– a line of hand-painted designer mousetraps –- is taking things to a whole new level this holiday season with winter-themed mousetrap ornaments. The traps are fully functional, but can double as holiday decorations in case you don’t have any “creatures stirring.”
The Mousesnaps story is pretty simple. Two young women were sick of having to set unsightly mousetraps around their apartment to deal with a rodent problem. Luckily, they also happened to be wannabee artists with too much time on their hands and they decided to paint some traps for their personal use. From there, visitors offered to buy them right off the floor, they launched and online store and watched orders come in from around the world.
The only complaint the Mousesnaps team has heard so far (besides that their customers have mice) is that the traps are “too pretty to actually use!” The team has since come up with alternative uses for the product, including ornaments, wall hooks and kitchen clips, no mice required!
