This brilliantly animated music video from Brent Knopf of the indie rock band, Menomena, is an allegory straight out of the Old West, that gives new meaning to the Wild West.
What starts off in a bar scene with bobblehead-like vintage characters turns into an intense shooting match with heads blown off replaced with animal heads, and ends in an eerie hike in the woods full of nonstop surprises.
The music video features “I Say Fever” recorded on the band’s debut album Intuit, and was directed and animated by Stefan Nadelman together with Brent Knopf. Look for this one high on the list of top videos of 2009.
