With the use of mobile phones on the rise, more and more discarded phones are thrown into dump yards. Statistics show that the average person discards their mobile after 18 months. Eco artist Nigel Sielegar found a way to use these old discarded mobiles.
Nigel Sielegar used a 18’ high and 24’ wide frame to create this piece of artwork for NBC’s Earth Day. The art installation included hundreds of old mobile phones to depict an abstract scene. Check out the gallery above to see some of his work!
