There is no reason why inmates should be cut-off from the glories of mother earth, that is why designer Van der Sluis created this dome for prisons. This dome is ideal for inmates who are playing sports or are just sick of the constricted upward view in standard prisons which are guarded by tall brick walls.
The holes along the side of the dome gradually get larger and larger, therefore allowing more natural sunlight in and the sides of the building allow prisoners to see the horizon. The structure, which consists of 15 triangles, is quite easy to construct as well as dismantle.
