Conceptual artist Anthony Jones is creating a fanfic spinoff of the Super Mario Bros. called 'Mario,' and he's designed untooned versions of Princess Peach, Mario, Luigi, and Bowser to accompany the piece.
I love the idea of untooning cartoons and classic video game characters. Check them all out in the featured gallery!
Implications - Each of the characters come with a "real world" story. Mario is portrayed as a "beat down" plumber, Princess Peach is portrayed as a busty babe actress/supermodel while Bowser takes on the role of an evil mob boss. Poor Luigi just looks like he has a cold with his red nose and blood-shot eyes. The images are absolutely awesome and even if you aren't a fan you will surely enjoy them!
