Brenden Macaluso’s entry into the Core 77 Greener Gadgets Competition to be held February 27th in New York is a concept computer housed in corrugated cardboard. The design grew out of Macaluso’s curiosity about what it takes to make a computer. He chose cardboard as a way to push beyond commonly accepted ‘computer’ materials.
While Macaluso’s design is uniquely his, the concept was proffered by the Japan-based Lupo Company in 2005. Their design had a more conventional appearance.
