Vogue UK Editorial Inspired by Roald Dahl

“Tales of the Unexpected” is one of Vogue UK’s December editorials. The publication seeks to bring to life some of writer Roald Dahl’s most beloved children’s tales such as “Matilda,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “James and the Giant Peach.” For that purpose, Vogue has teamed up with film director Tim Burton and other artists to crystallize Dahl’s vision through fashion. 

Actors Helena Bonham Carter, Imelda Staunton and Jamie Bell, as well as the musician Lightspeed Champion were among the creative minds recruited by Vogue UK to recreate Dahl’s iconic fairytales.
