Ola Giertz has designed a modern, rectangular-shaped furniture piece for Materia. The artist used a simplistic aesthetic, but one that's very different from any seating arrangement designed as of late.
Interestingly, the rectangular shape makes the chair look like a picture frame, with the subject being whomever is sitting on the piece at the time. Users can also choose from a variety of ways to use the Frame chair, either leaning it up against a wall for back support, sitting in it with a leg on each side, or both legs on one side while resting against the vertical frame section. No matter what you choose, it's safe to say you will look like a picture perfect painting even if simply relaxing in the living room.
