Experimental Feminine Collections

The Rag & Bone Resort 2015 Collection is Super Versatile

David Neville and Marcus Wainwright travelled through as-yet-unchartered territory for the Rag & Bone Resort 2015 collection.

The designer duo took things that were decidedly "un-Rag & Bone," and played around, fitting them into its existing aesthetic. Examples of this experimentation include animal print pieces (most notably in the form of a slim-fitting silk dress), monochromatic chunky knits and a printed, pony hair jacket. Eager to explore beyond their tried-and-true pieces, the designers incorporated some pink into their vision. To differentiate from traditional uses of the "girly," color, they combined it with some not-so-girly silhouettes (a tailored moleskin coat and boxy faux-jean jacket, for instance).

Overall, fans of Rag & Bone will be pleased to see the brand attempt something outside its comfort zone.
