They've been saying that robots are going to take over our jobs eventually for some time now, but Panera Bread is making the actual jump to make it happen. Panera Bread has made their intentions to get rid of all their human employees and replace them with robots very clear. They've even put a date on it and it's sooner than you would think.
Employees at Panera Bread may need to start planning on a different line of employment as by 2016 there won't be any positions for humans. In addition to the robots there will also be automated payment stations and kiosks to completely get rid of the human element that comes with the serving industry.
