The Sugarloaf pineapple is in a league of its own when it comes to sweet and savoury flavor. For those that crave the sweet and slightly sour flavor of a good pineapple there is no better option than this strand.
It may seem strange, but could you imagine a type of pineapple who's core is so sweet that other pineapples sweetest parts couldn't even hold a torch to it? Well it turns out that it exists. The Kaua'i Sugarloaf pineapple is also white on the inside, where most pineapples would typically be a dull yellow.
The pineapples are so exclusive that they take about two years to grow and costs about $25 a piece. If you have the extra change though, you won't be disappointed by the sinfully sweet taste of the Sugarloaf.
