When NIKE comes up with an invention, it likes they stick to it. Flyknit technology is the company’s bread and butter right now. They use it in many of their shoes but for this monumental display they used the technology for architecture.
The NIKE aero-static dome is an installation that will be set up in Taiwan to celebrate the release of one of the world’s most celebrated athlete’s new shoe. Kobe Bryant shook the world up by releasing the ultra hightop Kobe 9s but he’s dialling it back, so to speak, with the Kobe 9 elite low.
The monument will be set up in the cities Palazzo Clerici as part of celebration of the launch. NIKE really knows how to change the game and this flyknit technology based dome is proof.
