Starbucks Beer Will be Available at Certain Locations

For Starbucks lovers in the United States who are die-hard fans of the massive coffee franchise, you will be happy to know that the company is expanding its repertoire with beer and appetizers.

Presumably the coffee chain has managed to obtain liquor licensing for these locations, but it is an interesting move for a conventional coffee-only company. This signifies a move into new markets, in an attempt to get an entirely different type of crowd at alternative hours. Many customers can't wait to get their hands on their morning latte from Starbucks - perhaps the enticement of beer will have the same results. The real question is whether or not Starbucks beer can compete with other, more established bars in the area. Either way it's an interesting move from the coffee giant.
