The Movimento Bandeiras Brancas Campaign Encourages Organ Donations

Although the idea of donating one's organs after death is an admirable thought, it comes as no surprise that many people don't actually follow up on it; the Movimento Bandeiras Brancas ad campaign hopes to change some people's minds. Or simply encourage them to take that next and final step to potentially saving another's life in the future.

Conceived and executed by Pereira & O'Dell, an ad agency based in São Paulo, Brazil, the Movimento Bandeiras Brancas ad campaign reads, "Tell your family (or legal guardian) that you wish to donate your organs after you pass away. It's simple." It was art directed by Brunno Barbosa with creative direction by Guilherme Lemos. The stunning image was created by bodypainting artist Gesine Marwedele and photographer Mateusz Rzewuski.
