Adly Syairi Ramly Makes Musicians out of Lego
Davina Sinnatamby — March 20, 2014 — Art & Design
Malaysian twitter user and artist Adly Syairi Ramly used real LEGO pieces to create little yellow versions of iconic bands. LEGO has definitely made a bold comeback this year with the new film and video games. It's not just a kids toy anymore, the building blocks can be used for art.
Ramly recreated 20 famous bands and the results are eerily accurate. The artist did not use Photoshop. He used his iPhone 5 to capture the Lego bands in awesome poses. Some of his recreations include Beastie Boys, The Beatles, The Pixies, Pearl Jam and Green Day.
I can't imagine how awesome it would be to be one of those rock stars and seeing these recreations. They are so honestly accurate it would be like looking into a LEGO mirror.
