Located in the lush region of Charlevoix, France, this breathtaking architecture design is nestled in a forest that reinforces the cozy barn feel of this residence. Dubbed the Malbaie VIII Residence, the modern barn design was reinterpreted by architecture firm Ulysse Lemerise Bouchard into the perfect hybrid: a traditional barn structure with a contemporary calming interior.
Almost spa-like on the inside, the charming barn residence is made up of mostly wood giving it the rustic cozy look. Mixing both old school and more modern interior design techniques, the residence has a minimalist, subtle and contemporary feel. With a suspended fireplace as the centerpiece, the house is like a tranquil winter spa haven.
