The ice storm that rocked Ontario, Canada was legendary. Entire streets were decimated by fallen trees, streets and sidewalks were unusable and many homes were left uninhabitable due to the power loss. That's the bad news; the good news is that not only is it over but we have a beautiful time-lapse video out of it that shows exactly what was happening while Mother Nature ravaged across the north.
This video, ICELIGHT TORONTO, shot by Gavin Heffernan shows a sped up version of the devastation that took place during the dubious ice storm. The video is faster but still manages to catch a variety of still frames of the beauty that came out of the storm. The shots are set well so the color combined with the ice makes for amazing visuals. The ice storm may not have been the greatest to live through but it's beauty was undeniable.
