Originally designed by Yrjö Kukkapuro in 1964, the Karuselli Lounge Chair is being relaunched by Helsinki, Finland-headquartered furniture manufacturer Artek as part of its new collection. A timeless creation, it nevertheless harks back to the clean lines of the '70s design movement, which modern minimalists continue to be enamored with today.
Made out of glass fiber with plush leather upholstery, the Karuselli Lounge Chair is made for executive office spaces and contemporary homes. Although it is hard to imagine anyone getting any work done in the deep recesses of this seat.
