Timothy Goodman's inclusive installation at the Airbnb headquarters in San Francisco brings a new level of meaningfulness when it comes to office interior design. The permanent wall art incorporates the employees' experiences at the company in the form of hand-drawn illustrations. They are simply framed with leftover plywood from an earlier construction project, cut into varying sizes.
The designer asked the members of the Airbnb team to write down some of their favorite moments and internal memories from working there, which he then translated into 115 beautifully and painstakingly drawn pictures.
The creative and personal 60 foot installation adds an element of thoughtful storytelling to daily operations at the company. The sentimental office interior design is also a great way for employees to take ownership over their place of work.
