High fashion takes on a more sporty appeal thanks to the Assembly SS 2014 Collection.
Inspired by how amazing competing athletes always look during the Olympics, designer Greg Armas decided to use this as an inspiration for his fourth womenswear collection. Armas wanted to create durable and minimalistic fashions for the everyday busy New York woman who lives from dressing room to dressing room. Featuring 90s sports wear and 70s sportif, these fashions exhibit an array of exposed zippers, frontal zipper sports bras and very cropped tops. The color scheme of this collection stays mostly with basic grays, whites and blacks with pops of neon, bright red and an intricate copper color.
