Ryaboi & Daredevils Take Daring Pictures on Rooftops

Multidisciplinary photographer and rooftop climber Tom Ryaboi has recently teamed up with a group of daredevil skyscraper climbers from all around the world to take part in a photography exhibition at the headquarters of Publicis Groupe in Champs-Elysees in Paris, France. The series of heart-stopping photographs were shot by Tom Ryaboi, Andrew Tso, Taran Cypher and Aurelie Curie from vantage points on the rooftops of iconic skyscrapers around the world.
The exhibition also has an interactive feature where the group has created a space on the top floor of Publicis Groupe that features a huge film screen that puts visitors at the brink of a skyscraper, encouraging visitors to stand on it and experience the heart-stopping illusion themselves.
On his inspiration for this project, Ryaboi says, “it has always been in our human nature to want to explore our surroundings, but now that we live in cities many have shelved this instinct. Rooftoppers are now taking this instinct to a whole new level.”
