If the folks behind Pokemon ever wanted to target an older demographic, then Yuuki Morita is the person they’d want to talk to. The artist has created a series of illustration that show horrifyingly realistic version of the “original three” Pokemon in their fully evolved forms. For those who haven’t played “Pokemon.” the original three are Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charmander, who fully evolve into Blastoise, Venasaur and Charizard, respectively.
Yuuki Morita’s will completely change how you feel about Pokemon, with the artist depicting them as brutal monsters as opposed to cuddly creatures. The illustrations look as if they’re movie posters, which they very well could be, if the Pokemon films were PG-13 horror or adventure films.
