Photo-Inspired Film Festivals (SPONSORED)

With its new Project Imaginat10n campaign, Canon invited photographers to submit photos, and had filmmaker Ron Howard and his daughter Bryce Dallas Howard choose five of the best to serve as the inspiration for a series of five films shot by celebrity amateur filmmakers.

The cast chosen to create these films include some A-list names spanning from the music industry to the tech and fashion industries. Expect a great soundtrack from James Murphy, Founder of LCD SOUNDSYSTEM and expect plenty of great acting in the short from Jamie Foxx. (After all, he won an Academy Award®, so he'll include nothing but the best talent.)

Biz Stone, the co-founder of Twitter, and Georgina Chapman, an incredibly talented designer as well as the co-founder of Marchesa, will be sure to pull out some surprises with their short films as well. Eva Longoria is probably the most familiar with being around cameras being a successful film and TV actress, so as the final celebrity amateur filmmaker in this campaign, don't discount what she'll be able to pull off.
