In order to promote her latest musical effort and fourth studio album, Bangerz, Miley Cyrus made an appearance at the Jimmy Fallon show where she, the talk show host and the house band The Roots, did an acapella cover of her catchy first single ‘We Can’t Stop.’

The video is arranged in a colorful Brady-bunch set up, with Miley in the center, Fallon to her right, and The Roots surrounding them both. The band takes care of the beat – using only their mouths as instruments – and Miley solo’s in this stripped-down version of her pop hit.

Putting the recent Sinead O’connor drama aside, this is a pretty captivating version of the song that highlights Miley’s vocal talent. Overall, this fun visual and vocal arrangement breathes new life into the popular radio tune and reminds us that half-naked twerking routines is not all Miley can do.
