The architects at PERA Studio updated an all-white apartment into a cheerful, color-blocked residence.
The architects introduced surprising pops of color throughout the high-rise accommodations – for instance, the kitchen unit is now sun-drenched in neon yellow paint, offering a stunning contrast to the crisp white surroundings. The apartment also features bold red accents via the doorways – and a calculated red lamp - to tie it all together. The apartment also features light wooden floors to add some warmth to the space.
The architects make use of color, but do so sparingly, so the house retains a simplistic, refined feel. The dash of color feels fresh, unexpected and adds a jaunty flair to an otherwise basic and unadorned residence. It’s incredibly hard to not be cheered by this jovial, colorful design.
