The New Nike Air Foamposite Pro 'Asteroid' is About to Launch

Nike is set to release the Foamposite Pro 'Asteroid' model in the next month. Lately, Nike has been manufacturing incredibly vibrant colors; after last season's 'galaxy' colorway, fans can identify a similar outer-space theme with this fall's 'Asteroid' release.

The graphic upper features a vivid sliding black/purple/pink/orange/yellow color gradient and a jet-black swoosh. Asteroid 'shards' litter the upper and midsole area. The popularized translucent outsole is instead replaced with one that is colored.

These kicks sat on shelves when they first dropped in the late 1990s; in part, because they were the most expensive basketball sneaker on the market (priced at $180). Today, with a price tag that has nearly doubled, the complete opposite effect occurs, particularly when exclusive colorways like this drop. Expect serious line-ups and limited quantities when these release in October.
