The Tune Table by Stefan Diez Does Not Play a Tune Despite Name

In lieu of its name, people may assume that the Tune Table does in fact play a tune. Instead, the Tune Table is an ultra-minimalist piece of furniture that was created to complement the creation of the Tune Chair. Forgoing fun musical accessories, it is compatible with only one other object: the Clamp. The Clamp provides the Tune Table with extra storage that is secreted under the table.
Designed by German-based designer Stefan Diez for Schellmann Furniture, the Tune Table is part of his Seven Studies exhibition. Made out of laser-cut sheet metal and powder-coated MDF, it is available in a variety of colors including black grey, papyrus white, greenish yellow, yellow and red.
According to the designer, the Tune Table was created with the "potential to become the basis for an item for industrial mass production."
