The Green Mobiles are one way to add a lush and sculptural garden indoors. But what makes them truly special is the inspiration behind the forms. While the name and configuration of the Green Mobiles will bring to mind the mobiles that hang over baby cribs, the design of each planter was actually modeled after shopping bags.
Although that might seem slightly strange at first, the Green Mobiles were created for a new shopping mall in Prague. They were designed by architects at Alexis Tricoire. As reported by the Contemporist, "The shapes were created with 3form Varia with 40% recycled content that compliments the “green” values of the project. 3form fabrication team thermo formed the unique shapes."
