Influenced by a segment of written text by author Hari Kunzru, artist Sam Winston created an interesting collection of typographic artworks as a reflection of how text is styled after man's obsession with the periodic table of elements.
Incorporating elements of religious geometry from the east and scientific symbolism from the west, the designer has created a series of three graphic compositions that are made with an acid etching process on plates of zinc. Modern chemistry can be found throughout the series with references to chemical symbols of gadgets such as gold watches and SIM cards integrated into the intricate designs.
