Changing the shape of lighting, the SuperPatata lamp design by product designer Hector Serrano morphs and changes shape as it is manipulated by the user.
Made using flexible rubber, the exterior is incredibly stretchy and malleable, creating a satisfyingly manipulable surface that can be contorted to your desired form. Looking like balloons stuffed with sand and a mysterious glow, the lamps come in several bright colors and are attached to electric wires instead of string. Their slouchy, potato-like shape lends itself to various circumstances and several of them can be stacked on top of each other for a colorful tower of light.
Children will be able to enjoy molding and morphing the SuperPatata lamp collection and they don't have to worry about the dangers of breaking delicate glass bulb casings.
