The IRO Excavator differs greatly from the sorts of machines that you would usually see on construction sites. Unlike the majority of those tractors, the IRO has a very clean appearance, without so many exposed components and details that can often cause problems during operation.
What Andreas Hofer did was encase the parts of the little digger within a tight box and perch that compartment on top of a set of heavily treaded track wheels. It can move efficiently over uneven ground and scattered debris and perform a wide range of tasks. This is made possible by an innovative Quick Connection System that allows you to easily install a variety of arms and heads onto the front of the IRO Excavator. Its compact form is surprisingly capable.
