Melting Ice Drink Dispensers

The 7UP Vending Machine is Made from Blocks of Ice That Melt

The 7UP vending machine had passersby in Argentina feeling refreshed. The ingenious drinks dispenser was made out of blocks of ice that the cans of pop were neatly concealed in. Once the sun started to shine, the ice slowly melted, revealing the free cans to passers by.

The popular beverage brand created the vending machine in association with BBDO Argentina. The coin-less machine also had locals guessing what time it would be completely melted through, and the final cans would be “liberated” through the Twitter handle #MeltingMachine.

As you can guess, it wasn’t long before this ice machine had completely melted without a trace. The machine certainly provided a lot of joy to locals while it lasted however, and generated a lot of publicity for the drinks company.
