The Times Transplantation Building is a perfect example of restored sixties architecture. With its modular retro shape, this building echoes the style of an Austin Powers home or that of a James Bond villain.
The original building was built in 1967 and was updated by a contemporary Japanese firm through a method called 'transportation.' With its white walls and contrasting lime green façades, this unusual home is filled with light and a retro charm.
This home also has some original features that have been preserved by the architects, such as the exposed pipes and the buildings original oil supply systems. This building is an excellent example of classic architecture being combined with subtle modern touches to create a classic look that will never look dated.
