This stark and modern design by Karina Wiciak is a tad morbid. With meat hook cleaver light hangings, stainless steel staircases and black hanging chains, this home looks like something from a horror movie as opposed to somewhere you could relax in the evenings.
The surreal slaughterhouse inspired interior certainly makes a bold statement that will get the young Polish interior designer noticed. The designer says she intended the design to be used as a commercial space and that her creation is: “not only an interior design, but a combination of design and art.” The talented designer also says her aim was: “not to create trite, fashionable interiors, but non-standard places, full of symbols and metaphors, at the borderline between architecture and performance.”
