Charles Fréger has brought the essence of ancient tribes to the future to give us a glimpse into their unique way of life. He has captured a total of 19 European countries in this remarkable series. What is probably the most fascinating is how eclectic, yet similar these wild headdresses and clothing pieces are.
These ancient tribes styles either show how crazy or how brilliant we were as a people back in the day. While functional for keeping oneself warm, they can't be to great for performing daily activities in -- I'm sure sporting a pair of antlers on the head couldn't be too good for one's neck and posture, either. I have to hand it to them, though: these costumes would surely scare off predators. I would be terrified if someone came charging at me in one of those!
