What is your favorite trend and why?
My favorite trend is this mini-metallic ball sound art installation. The overarching theme of this trend is full sensory art, so it is a little piece of heaven I think. They are little metallic balls that mimic the sound of the ocean through magnetic poles underneath the table.
How do you define cool?
I think cool is what you make it. If you are walking down the street and you see an advertisement that really appeals to you, that’s cool. If cool is something that’s edgy, something that’s trendy or popular it’s honestly how you make it cool.
What’s your favorite accomplishment?
My favorite accomplishment is integrating both Trend Hunter and my love of the fashion industry. Working in the luxury retail and buying environment and with Trend Hunter, I was able to make a name for myself and get myself known in the industry.
Predict something awesome for 2020?
A trend I see being popular is from more of an interactive technological perspective. More interaction, more touchscreen, thinner, smaller, more integrated into our bodies. I find innovative technology is the greatest trend to come this century.
What advice would you give to the business world?
My advice to the business world is to step back and watch, listen and take advice and also be patient for change.
