Personal Scent Exhibits

Smell Me by Martynka Wawrzyniak Recreates Hair, Armpit and Sweat Odors

Smell Me by Martynka Wawrzyniak is an art exhibit in which the Polish artist bares her soul through her very personal and individual scent. Essentially, she has put everything from her sweat to tears and hair on display for a unique olfactory show that teases a sense not often targeted. That appears to be changing fast thanks to Wawrzyniak and Chandler Burr.

Showing at Envoy Enterprises in New York City, Smell Me by Martynka Wawrzyniak took a year to create. Having enrolled in a chemistry summer course, she worked with Hunter College Professor Donna McGregor to put together this 'invisible' work of art. It was Yann Vasnier, one of the top perfumers in the business, and scent director Dawn Goldworm who helped recreate the scents.
