There are not a lot of dog- and cat-specific entryways because although convenient for people's furry family members, they are not necessarily practical in an overall sense; but the Pet Door PX-1 hopes to change that. This mini entrance boasts hi-tech features that ensures it is only used by the dog or cat purported to use it.
Created by High Tech Pet, the Pet Door PX-1 works with an electronic collar. This collar has a sensor that activates the opening and closing of the door. This way no other critters, including the unwelcome human kind, cannot get in when not invited. In addition to this key feature, the Pet Door PX-1 doesn't just unlock, it raises open. The collar can be programed to works as 'out only,' 'in only' or both.
