The KTM Trik Bike is a cross between an electric bicycle and a trial bike. A trial bike, for those who don't know, is a bicycle designed to be used in mountain bike trials. These trials challenge a rider to make their way through an obstacle course without ever setting foot on the ground. Trial bikes are usually designed without seats and without electric motors.
The KTM Trik Bike obviously has both a seat and an electric motor, but its body and tires look similar to a trial bike's. This rugged eco-cycle was designed by three French students, Marc Devauze, Cyril Mathieu and Alexandre Labruyere. The students' objective was to design a bike for Europe's largest cities in 2030.
