The MotivePro vibrating athletic suit provides real-time feedback about the position of one's body while they are engaged in an activity.
Invented by Professor Gregory Sporton of Birmingham City University in the UK, the suit monitors the wearer's body position and movements to help them pique their physical performance and reduce strain. The device features several bands that strap on to the individual's torso, arms and forehead that vibrate when those body parts move outside of a pre-selected range. This allows athletes the ability to pinpoint incorrect body positions for improved physical performance and technique enhancement.
This device can also be useful for determining which types of body positions cause strain or aggravate injuries by adjusting the straps to vibrate when an undesirable movement is made.
