Kate Middleton Wore Matthew Williamson with A Customization
Rebecca Byers — April 25, 2012 — Pop Culture
The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wore Matthew Williamson recently while appearing at the premiere of Disney’s ‘African Cats’ in London. The Duchess selected a soft gray pre-fall 2012 Matthew Williamson dress with a turquoise and gold bejeweled collar, which was a custom addition by the British designer for Kate.
While the original dress from the pre-fall 2012 line included the embellishments on the dress' half-sleeves, the collar made from the same jewels was added for Kate. The frock features a fierce peplum waist, a style Kate also opted to wear while attending events on St. Patrick’s Day.
The Duchess of Cambridge attended the Disney red carpet premiere with Prince William, the couple just days away from their first wedding anniversary.
