Massachusetts-based designer and illustrator Casey Girard flexed and contorted a pack of wild animals into letters in her Animals in Alphabet series. Each animal appears to have somehow made its backbone slide into the shape of the first letter of their species' name. Looking like a collection of animalistic cheerleaders, these beasts are most certainly hooked on phonics.
Girard's illustrations are realistic yet comical. Casey Girard crafts caricatures of the majestic creatures that roam the darkest jungles and the deepest fathoms of the sea. Anyone of these spelling animal pieces would be a whimsical edition to any nursery or playroom.
Darling, endearing and just a touch educational, the Animals in Alphabet series is beautiful, engaging and definitely giggle-worthy.
