The ukulele might not be the most popular instrument out there, but that might be because it never had a special quirk about it aside from its size; the Folding Ukulele kit remedies that situation. Inspired by the traditional art of origami, Folding Ukulele is a DIY assembly kit that lets the owner build his or her own ukulele.
Conceived and created by Brian Chan (also known as chosetec), the Folding Ukulele kit is perfect for those who are constantly traveling or who simply love similar crafts. It takes about half a day to build and is available in standard as well as miniature sizes. Made out of bamboo plywood, it is also an eco-friendly instrument.
Due to high interest, the Folding Ukulele is now available as a finished product for those without the time to construct it themselves.
