The Volkswagen Rear Assist Ads Shows the Benefits of a Rear-View Cam

It's always important to be aware of one's surroundings and the Volkswagen Rear Assist ad campaign cautions just that. A series of print ads that advertises the benefits of Volkswagen's rear-view cameras, it shows that you can never be too careful when backing up in a car, just as you can't be too careful when backing up in general.

Conceived and executed by Hamburg-based ad agencies Grabarz & Partner and Werbeagentur, the Volkswagen Rear Assist ad campaign features everyday situations that could happen to pretty much everyone. Well, perhaps not necessarily the scaffolding scenario. The rear assist technology is available in the Transporter, Caravelle and Crafter.

The Volkswagen Rear Assist ad campaign was art directed by Thomas Schmiegel, photographed by Tom Mennemann and Christa Klubert and copywritten by Kerstin Correll.
