To protest the lack of green space in Madrid city, Luzinterruptus made 50 tiny ecosystems and placed the structures in various areas of the city. The tiny systems are even protected from city pollution with small, individual coverings.
Luzinterruptus had a lot to say about the overpowering greyness one experiences in Madrid city, but instead of vocalizing these thoughts in the traditional sense, the art company decided to symbolically intervene with a unique twist. These mini-art systems are set up in strategic locations to try and get people to realize what may be lacking in the city. Green space is seriously limited, and hopefully the people of Madrid will appreciate these tiny ecosystems by Luzinterruptus. Perhaps this will encourage city officials to form green space of their own.
