He claims that most drivers will fall asleep at the wheel at least once in their lives. He also states that large scale disasters, such as Chernobyl have been linked to poor decision making due to fatigue. Foster urges individuals to take sleep seriously.
Russell Foster says that most people need at least eight hours of sleep a night, and on average most people get between five and six hours of sleep a night. Foster encourages people to stop drinking caffeine after noon and get serious about resting.
