Chris Orwig talks about finding beauty in the everyday in his magnificence of the mundane speech. After receiving a serious injury while skateboarding Chris was unable to pursue many of the activities that he loved to do. Quoting Helen Keller who said "the most beautiful things can't be seen or touched, they must be felt," the world renown photographer felt as if he lost touch with the beauty that surrounded him.

It was after Orwig's father gave him a camera when he finally became reengaged with the world around him. Orwig specializes in photography that captures the moments in between intended expressions. The times when peoples'guards are let down and a true expression of emotion and beauty shines through.

There is so much beauty in the world and to neglect noticing it, valuing it or pursuing it is folly of the first degree. Chris Orwig concludes by saying "forget perfecting, celebrate the cracks for that's how light gets in."
