Sanjeev Lamba shares some valuable advice about pursuing what you want to do in this living your dreams keynote. For the CEO of Reliance Entertainment, Lamba's dreams of working in the film industry did not come instantly, he had to chase them for over twenty years.
As anyone who is able to passionately do what they love will say, "the wait and the chase is well worth it." Several things are important to understand however if a life in the arts is something that a person wants to do seriously. Failure is certain and failure is public but failure is also where the greatest lessons will come from. Because failure is certain it is vital that one is nice to people on their way up because those are the people that will be there to help out when you are down.
Most important of all is passion, passion is what allows you to get past the pitfalls of failure and to continue creating beautiful and rewarding art.
